Tuscon Golf Courses
Tuscon city has some swanky, beautiful and international level golf courses. Tuscon golf courses such as the Randolph Golf course have the distinction for being the current site for the PING/Welch’s LPGA Championship. The golf course is also the site for the PGA Joe Garagiola Tuscon Open. The Randolph Golf course, located at 600 S. Alvernon Way, is also the longest Tuscon golf course and offers lush fairways, beautiful tall trees and panoramic views of the surrounding Tuscon Mountains.
Golf Tuscon is pretty much a recreational facility where many people come to practice, tee around at different levels and improve their handicap. The Silverbell Tuscon Golf course was built in 1979 along the western bank of the Santa Cruz River and has water hazards such as nine lakes, green rolling ground and huge trees. This 18-hole Tuscon golf course is located at 3600 N. Silverbell Rd.
Some other Tuscon golf courses includes the El Rio Golf Course that is perhaps the oldest Tuscon golf course (1930s) and also the original site for the Tuscon Open Tournament. The Dell Urich and the Fred Enke Golf Course are the other two Tuscon golf courses.
